Monitor product quality during production at the prescribed frequency and complete the associated records.
Ensure product traceability is maintained throughout the process.
Ensure current versions of records are being used in the department
Inspect incoming raw materials, ingredients and packaging for compliance with specifications.
Checking personnel hygiene
Act as the relief microbiologist in the event that the microbiologist is unavailable
Ensure clean as you go is adhered to during the course of production
Ensuring that cleaning and disinfection procedures are properly executed
Conduct monthly GMP audits of the section
Ensuring that quality and food safety programmes are being followed as laid down in the procedures, SOPs, PRPs and company guidelines
